Note about Sept. 12-13 Worship at Valley
To our potential guests and visitors:
We are delighted that you are considering a visit to Valley Community Baptist Church! Our church is all about Jesus; whether you're already a follower are or just curious to learn more about what we believe and why, we look forward to welcoming you for an upcoming visit.
We are celebrating our 50th anniversary this weekend, so everything will be a little different!
Our Saturday evening service will take place at 5 p.m. as usual, but this will be a very special evening as we look back on how God has blessed our church these past 50 years. We'll have special exhibits and a joyous worship service. You are invited to join us, even if it's your first time at Valley! Just remember that you want to arrive early as we expect a big crowd. We are located at 590 W. Avon Road in Avon, CT. Here's the schedule for that evening:
4 p.m.: Doors open to tour the exhibits
4:30 p.m.: Doors open for seating in the Sanctuary
5 p.m.: Worship Service in the Sanctuary
6:30 p.m.: Refreshments, tour exhibits, and other festivities
Sunday Worship Service Alert
Please note that there will not be a worship service in the building Sunday. Our special worship service will take place offsite, and tickets are required to attend. We hope your schedule allows you to visit the weekend of Sept. 19-20, when we kick off our fall season with a new sermon series and lots of events for all ages.
