If you are unemployed or underemployed, in search of housing, or in need of financial counseling and would like to talk to someone about your situation, please contact the Care Ministry staff, and we would be happy to schedule an appointment with one of our staff members.
Second Saturdays at 7 a.m.
Faithful Hands is a group of men who serve single mothers, widows, or any other person in need of practical handyman services. The group meets for the first hour to build relationships, and review the list of work items. Then, they spend two hours assisting members of the community with house work and yard work, building relationships as they serve.
Third Saturdays at 9 a.m.
Helping Hands is a group of women who provide short-term assistance to those who need help with small projects such as cleaning and organizing, grocery shopping, etc. Please contact the Care Ministry staff for more information.

Valley offers short-term pastoral counseling for those experiencing a personal crisis, such as marriage concerns, health problems, family matters, or questions about identity and purpose. Contact the Care Ministry staff to schedule a meeting time.
If you or a loved one are home bound, in the hospital, or in a nursing home, Valley Care ministry offers visitation, anointing and communion. Contact the Care Ministry staff to schedule a meeting time.

Individualized prayer meetings are available for those suffering from physical, mental, and/or emotional conditions. Contact the Care Ministry staff to schedule time with elders, pastors, and deacons for prayer, anointing and support.
Valley's Prayer Group is a gathering of Valley attendees who spend time praying through the prayer requests that are submitted each weekend during worship service.
Valley attendees knit and crochet handmade shawls for those who are experiencing illness, grief or personal crisis. If you know someone who would like a prayer shawl, or if you would like to make a prayer shawl, please contact the Care Ministry staff. Yarn and instructions are provided.
Praying for others is an important part of caring for one another. If you have a prayer request or would like to pray for others in our community, visit our virtual Prayer Wall.
Located near the Venue, Café, and Front Desk, Valley's Prayer Room is a quiet and peaceful place to pray through the provided stations, post prayer requests and spend time with God.

The Relationship Initiative is a series of events, ranging from date nights to large outreach opportunities, that are designed to enrich our relationships with those we care about the most.
Valley Care sponsors several special events throughout the year, including seminars on how to cope with the loss of a spouse and how to survive the holidays, as well as annual celebrations for the Celebrate Recovery and Faithful Hands groups.

Urban Alliance works to create opportunities for people to achieve lasting change in their lives through the collaborative work of Christian churches and other partner organizations in our local community. Examples include Foster Care, Second Chance Programs, Mental Health Support and training and resources.
