Important Questions You May Have
What Celebration Weekend events require tickets?
No ticket or RSVP is required to attend the Heritage Saturday event and worship service on Saturday.
A ticket will be required for Vision Sunday (worship and brunch). A limited amount of "worship-only" seats will be provided Sunday in the tent at the Farmington Polo Club, but they are on a "first-come first-served" basis. This would not include brunch. The tent opens at 9:30 a.m.
Please note that there will not be any events at the church building on Sunday.
I don't have a Vision Sunday ticket. Any way to get one?
Ticket sales ended Aug. 13, but there are three things you can do if you would like to try to attend:
If you were not able to afford a ticket, a limited number of scholarships are avaialble. Please email to apply for a scholarship. We will get back to you regarding your request.
If you missed the deadline, you can get on the waitlist by clicking here to go to the ticket site. Click on "Buy Tickets" and fill out the waiting list form. We will reach out to you if tickets become avaialble from returns.
A very limited number of "worship-only" seats will be available, first-come first-served. No ticket needed. This would not include brunch.
What do I do if I have a ticket I can't use?
Please don't let your ticket go to waste! Someone else definitely wants it. If you have purchased a ticket and cannot use it, please email so we can get it to the next person on the waiting list.
What about parking and logistics?
On Heritage Saturday, the church opens at 4 p.m. for viewing of the special exhibits. Sanctuary doors open at 4:30 p.m. for the 5 p.m. worship service. If needed, extra seating for the service will be in The Venue, where the service will be. livestreamed. We suggest you arrive early as this will be a well-attended event.
On Vision Sunday, when you enter the Farmington Polo Club, head to "Entrance C" -- you'll see a dark blue sign. From there, Club parking attendants willl direct you to either the main lot or, if it's full, to the grass parking overflow area. Please have your handicap parking sign ready to show if needed.
Valley strongly encourages eveyrone to carpool to Vision Sunday if possible. This will allow worship to start on time and more people to park closer to the tent.
What are the plans for the kids?
On Heritage Saturday, there are no kids classes and no childcare. The Family Room will be open at all times.
On Vision Sunday, all kids will sit at the tables with their parents or group. Valley Kids will have a worship actiity kit for younger children. Please remember that everyone requiring a seat at a table must have a ticket.
