THRIVE Farmington Valley Conference
November 6, 2026 7:00pm
Address: Valley Community Baptist Church, 590 West Avon Rd, Avon, CT US 06001
THRIVE Farmington Valley: Nov. 6-7
Valley Community Baptist Church is once again honored to be hosting THRIVE, a free two-day conference for Christians throughout Farmington Valley. In partnership with Vision New England and several other churches, we will explore the theme "Known: What's Your Story?"
What is THRIVE?
Join other Christians from around the region as we gather in unity to worship together, listen to inspiring speakers, and participate in breakout sessions designed to help you and your church to THRIVE. We will unite as we hear fresh ideas and collaborate with other believers, then disperse to our local church bodies with newfound insight and inspiration. Our session leaders are experts in their ministry or topic area, from around New England and the country.
Friday, November 6
UNITED NIGHT OF Worship at 7 p.m. in the sanctuary
The night begins with live music from a multi-church worship team, followed by a message from keynote speaker Mac Owen, Global Director of Celebrate Recovery. Mac and Mary Owen have devoted years to helping people discover freedom from the hurts, habits, and hang-ups that can keep them from experiencing the abundant life Christ offers. His ministry reflects a deep commitment to meeting people where they are, listening to their stories, and pointing them toward the transforming hope of Jesus Christ.
