THRIVE Farmington Valley Conference
Nov. 6-7: Valley is proud to once again host the THRIVE Farmington Valley Conference! Several churches will gather for a night of worship on Nov. 6 and breakout sessions Nov. 7. The theme is “Known: What’s Your Story?” The THRIVE keynote speaker is Mac Owen, Global Director of Celebrate Recovery. Mac will also be our guest speaker at Valley worship services that weekend. The conference is free, but you must register to attend. Optional lunch is $12; paid childcare also available on the form.

Oct. 23: Young Adults Pumpkin Night
Unleash your creative side (or our sledgehammer) as we carve, decorate, or smash the pumpkin you provide! Feel free to bring a fall craft instead; we will have fall treats and morel Pumpkin Night is Friday, Oc. 23, at 7 p.m. in Fellowship Hall. No RSVP needed.
Oct. 30: Trunk or Treat Extravaganza
You're invited to our Valley Kids Trunk or Treat Extravaganza on Friday, Oct. 30, from 6-7:30 p.m. in the Valley parking lot! Kids in preschool-Grade 6 are encouraged to dress up in family-friendly costumes and "trick-or-treat" from car to car. We'll have games, face painting, cider, and an optional simple dinner for under $5. This is a perfect opportunity to invite a friend to church. There is no cost to attend, but please RSVP so we can plan appropriately. Click the button below to sign up.
SERVING OPPORTUNIITY: We need more trunks for our Trunk or Treat! If you or your Community Group would help out by decorating a vehicle and providing treats, please click below. Time to unleash your creative side!
Nov. 1: "Surviving the Holidays"
Getting through the holidays can be painful if you're. mourning the loss of a loved one. You're invited to this special GriefShare seminar to get encouragement and advice from people who have experienced such loss. The seminar is Sunday, Nov. 1, at 3 p.m. Cost is $10. Refreshments provided.
Nov. 2: Baptism Class
Ready to go "all in" with Jesus? Baptism is an important faith step for followers of Christ. You can get baptized at our Nov. 24 Tahnksgiving Service! But first you must attend our Baptism Class on Nov. 2 at 6:30 p.m. at the church. Classes for kids, students, and adults will all be held on this night. You must sign up ahead of time using the link below.
