Why would an evangelical church host an equipping class about Catholicism? And why should you consider attending?

For starters, many Valley attenders grew up Catholic. If that's you, this class will help clarify what's similar and what's different about our sets of beliefs. The class approaches these differences -- and the difficulties many people encounter when they leave the Catholic church -- with respect and insight.

If you didn't grow up Catholic, this class will prove very helpful in faith conversations with your Catholic friends. Knowing the many commonalities and the major points of departure leads to mature discussions based on love and understanding instead of generalities and stereotypes.
