Here's the perfect way to start your Thanksgiving week and the holiday season: Come join us for Thanksgiving Service & Baptisms on Tuesday, Nov. 25, at 7 p.m. in the Sanctuary.
This annual service includes:
- Several people from our church family will be baptized, taking a significant Next Step as they declare their faith publicly.
- We will be giving thanks through song but also with each other -- what is something you are giving thanks to God for this year?
- The service will include a short message, great music, and the debut of our new Valley Kids Choir!
After the service, stick around for apple crisp as we give thanks for ... dessert!

When and where: The worship service begins at 7 p.m. in the Sanctuary at Valley Community Baptist Church (590 W. Avon Road, Avon, CT)
Young children: There is no childcare for this service, but the Family Room will be open; the service is livestreamed in the room.
Livestream info: The service will be livestreamed on our YouTube channel. The service will be published on our website by Wednesday, November 26.
