Click here to go to our PushPay page to make a one-time gift or set up your World Outreach giving. Make sure to select "World Outreach 25-26" from the "Fund" drop-down menu.
GO: While many of our 2025 trips have filled up, there are still several opportunities to go on a faith-changing short-term mission trip this year! Click here to review the trips and access the application.

World Outreach Week FAQ
1. What is "World Outreach Week"?
World Outreach Week is Valley's annual focused time on reaching people around the world and in our neighborhoods with the Good News about Jesus, helping to fulfill the Great Commission. It's a week of learning, celebrating, and praying about how we can each participate in World Outreach, a vital aspect of our church's mission for 47 years.
2. Our 2025 WOW Theme
Our theme this year, explained:
Jesus calls His disciples to fulfill the Great Commission and reach all nations with the Gospel. But it’s a challenging call! “Worthy Cause; Worth the Cost” is a natural theme for us this year and every year, as we consider the cost of being a follower of Jesus and the joy of sharing Him with the world.
3. What Do We Do During WOW?
WOW is an all-church event! Every ministry gets involved; Valley Avon and Valley Simsbury both host WOW events. There are special events for kids, students, young adults, men, and women. We have charity drives to benefit spiritual and practical needs of people across our street and around the world. And we ask everyone who attends Valley to "pray, give, and go" to take part in the glorious challenge of helping to fulfill the Great Commission -- spreading the Good News of Jesus to every corner of the world.
4. About the Guest Speaker
Allan Matamoros has dedicated his life to following and serving Jesus in world missions. Currently he serves with ETHNE International Development, a humanitarian development NGO with the purpose of identifying, accompanying and equipping small local initiatives that exist for the economic, social and spiritual development of their communities. Allan works with a multinational team to transform Latin America from a mission field to a mission force. Allan, and his wife, Patricia, focus on evangelizing the Muslim world in Jordan, Cyprus, and Spain.
