Valley World Outreach

Reaching the World Together

Valley is passionate about cultivating disciples who advance the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We believe everyone has a part in God's global mission through praying, giving, and going.

Everyone Has a Part

Join the Mission

We believe the global mission of the Church belongs to all of us. At Valley, we pursue World Outreach through three simple commitments:

Pray Faithfully

We pray for the missionaries and ministry partners we support, inviting more of our congregation to become prayer partners.

Discover ways to pray

Give Generously

We steward our resources to support church planting, native leadership development, justice and children at risk, local outreach, mobilizing our congregation, and strategic opportunities around the world.

Explore the Outreach Fund

Go Courageously

We equip and mobilize our congregation to participate personally in World Outreach through short-term trips, long-term service, and relationships with missionaries and ministry partners.

WHY serve as a community?

Missions is better together.

World Outreach is not something a few people do on behalf of the church. It is something we pursue together—building relationships, serving faithfully, and using what God has given us to advance the Gospel around the world.

Our Global Workers & Partners

People. Ministries. Global Impact.

Valley is privileged to partner with 16 World Outreach global teams—individuals, couples, and families—as well as 6 ministry partners serving around the world in a variety of cultural contexts and ministries.

Outreach Week · February 19–28, 2027

What's Your Story?

Every person has a story. And sometimes, the beginning of an outreach story is simply taking the time to listen.

The Heart of the Week

Start with a question.

Our experiences, relationships, joys, struggles, successes, failures, and questions all shape who we are. And woven throughout our stories is the story of how God has been at work in our lives.

During Outreach Week, we'll take time to look inward and consider our own personal and faith stories—and then look outward, asking how our stories can become opportunities to connect with the people around us.

Simply asking someone, “What's your story?” can open the door to genuine conversation, deeper understanding, compassion, and meaningful connection.

01

Listen

Make space for someone's story without assumptions.

02

Connect

Discover the experiences and places we have in common.

03

Share

Look for opportunities to share the hope we've found in Jesus.

One Calling

Across the street.
Around the world.

Local Outreach and World Outreach may look different, but both begin with the same simple act: seeing people as individuals with unique stories, experiences, needs, and hopes.

As we listen to the stories of others, we may discover opportunities to build relationships, serve with compassion, and share the hope we have found in Jesus Christ.

Today, Allan and Patricia serve with COMIBAM, a Latin American missions network working to help transform Latin America from a mission field into a mission force.

For more than two decades, their ministry has focused in particular on serving Muslim communities through discipleship, church planting, leadership development, and compassionate service.

RESOURCES

Pray

The Word of God says that prayer changes hearts, fights spiritual battles, and stirs up faith. Our hope is that every individual, family, small group, and community will build a relationship with, and be in prayer for, at least one missionary or missionary family supported by Valley.

BECOME A PRAYER PARTNER

Give

Reaching Muslims with Christ’s love in the Middle East and restoring hope among the poor around the world and here in Connecticut - This is what your World Outreach Giving accomplishes every year. There’s no endowment for World Outreach. No special reserve fund. Without World Outreach Giving, fewer kids are rescued. Fewer non-believers are reached. Less hope is restored. Our goal is 100 percent Valley participation.

Go

We encourage all church attendees to seriously consider being the hands, feet, and heart of Christ, serving in person to tend to the physical and spiritual needs of others.
