Connect This Summer!
Most Community Groups are on break, but we still have some great ways to connect in Valley Group Life this summer! Check out the Equipping Classes, Community Groups, and Care Groups available for you to connect with others and grow your faith in this season. More links and resources are available at the end of this page.
Equipping Class for Women
"The Struggle is Real" is a Monday night class led by Jenn Mizia, beginning July 8. No cost for the class. Paid childcare is available with registration by July 1. Click here for more class details.
Equipping Class for Men
"Practicing the Way" is a Tuesday night class led by Bob Huddy, beginning July 23. No cost for the class. No childcare available. Click here for more class details.
Community Group for Young Adults
This new Tuesday night summer group is for Young Adults 18-28, including college students. Just drop in any Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the Cafe to build friendships and learn from the Bible. No RSVP needed. For more information, email NextGen Pastor Brandon Sanford.
Care Groups for Adults
Celebrate Recovery: The popular weekly Care Group gathers every Wednesday at noon and Thursday at 7 p.m. Come to a caring group that has been through what you're going through as you deal with the hurts, habits, and hang-ups that interfere with God's plan for our lives. Click here for more details.
Friendship Community: This group is for adults with physical and/or intellectual disabilities, and their caregivers. We meet Thursdays at 6 p.m. for fellowship and fun as we celebrate our diverse abilities. To join the group or find out more information, email group leader Mary Swank.
