Baptisms in the Farmington River
SUNDAY, JULY 28, AT 1 P.M.
Our annual River Baptisms will begin around 1 p.m. in the Farmington River, behind the backyard of the home of a Valley member. The address is 1671 Farmington Ave. in Unionville. At the intersection of Route 177 and Route 4 in Unionville, head east on Route 4. The home is on the right side, just past Best Cleaners.
Where to Park
There is some limited parking on the lawn of the home. If you're able to make a short walk, please consider parking in the lot at Best Cleaners or in the parking lot of the Farmington Public Library. Please do not park along Route 4 itself.
What to Bring
Most observers will be standing on the shore to watch the ceremony; please bring your own lawn chair if needed. Please bring your own water or snacks, and remember to clean up when you leave, to pay respect to the homeowners. Many thanks for hosting us on the river once again!
