At Valley we value REACHING our world for Christ;
Therefore, our goal is that every person at Valley will be involved in the worldwide mission focus geographically or cross-culturally.
Pray. (Partnerships)
The Word of God says that prayer changes hearts, fights spiritual battles, and stirs up faith. Missionaries need our prayer support above all else and will often tell our World Outreach Committee how they covet and value prayer in their daily struggles. Our hope is that every individual, family, small group, and community will build a relationship with and be in prayer for at least one missionary or missionary family supported by Valley.

Steps to Becoming a Prayer Partner:

- Choose a missionary(ies) based on your interest in a country or discipline. Or you may choose a missionary that you met during WOW or another missionary meeting.

Give. (One-Time or Recurring Commitment)
Rescuing abandoned kids in the Caribbean. Reaching Muslims with Christ’s love in the Middle East. Restoring hope among the poor around the world and in Connecticut. This is what your World Outreach Giving accomplishes every year. There’s no endowment for World Outreach. No special reserve fund. We support 28 missionaries and 17 agencies with whatever Valley attendees give. It’s that simple – and that vulnerable. Without World Outreach Giving, fewer kids are rescued. Fewer non-believers are reached. Less hope is restored. Our goal is 100 percent Valley participation, so even your small Faith Promise will help reach our goal.

Go. (Serving In Person)
We encourage all church attendees to seriously consider being the hands, feet, and heart of Christ, serving in person to tend to the physical and spiritual needs of others.

Short Term Mission Trips
At Valley we value serving to advance God's Kingdom and reaching our world for Christ. Our hope is that every person at Valley is serving in an area of their giftedness, and will be involved in our world-wide mission focus geographically or cross-culturally. Regional Outreach
Valley offers many opportunities to serve Avon, and the Greater Hartford Area. We partner with schools, relief agencies, prisons, addiction treatment programs, pregnancy centers, and other non-profit groups to assist and provide for those in need. Join us in serving central Connecticut residents who have physical, social, and/or spiritual needs.
