Fall at Valley

We're flexing this fall!

The opening of fall ministry is always a joyous time at Valley, and this September we invite you and your family to worship, gather, serve, and care for one another as we make and multiply disciples together. This fall is a time of flexing, as well -- you'll see a lot of familiar events, but everything will be a little different, too. Read more about that below, as an introduction to this page, which serves as your complete and latest guide to everything happening at Valley this fall.

How We Will Flex Together

This fall at Valley, we will ...

Flex in how we worship. We'll start the fall worshipping three ways: indoors, outdoors, and online. When the weather gets too cold, we'll move back indoors.

Flex in how we gather. Some events will be at the church, some online,  and some at other sites and homes.

Flex in how we serve. Church is different now, and so is how we serve. There's a role for everybody, whether you're in the building, at home, or in your neighborhood.

Flex in how we care. You flexed wonderfully this summer to care for our neighbors, community, and each other. We're going to build on that by demonstrating God's love with compassion and understanding, even when it's difficult -- and always with Jesus front and center.

Worship Service Plan

As always, worship plans are subject to change based on COVID-19 guidelines, weather, and more. This is our plan for the start of fall, and we'll flex as needed! As usual, full resources and worship resources for kids and students will be available on our Worship page.
