Serve:  Holiday Help Needed

Looking for a special way to serve during the season? In addition to our usual Serve opportunities, we have three special events that we need help with! Just click on the accordion bar to explore more.

Decorate the Church Night - Dec. 1

New event! We're looking for a team of folks to come in one night and transform the church building and Sanctuary into a lovely Christmas setting! You don't need to bring anything but yourself -- we'll have all the decorations. Just bring willing hands and hearts -- together we'll have a fun time and stir some Christmas spirit. A simple free meal will be provided.

Decorate the Church Night is Thursday, December 1. If you're interested in helping, please email Carmie at

"Carols & Cookies" Crew - Dec. 9

We need several volunteers to make our Christmas outreach event a success! There are several roles to fill -- find the right fit for you! "Carols & Cookies" is Friday, December 9, from 7-9 p.m. There are opportunities to serve before, during, or after the event. Click on the button below to join the crew!

Share: Invite Others to Christmas

Equipped disciples share Jesus with others, and Christmas provides a perfect opportunity to invite a family neighbor, co-worker, or friend who doesn't normally attend church. Consider one or all of these options to share Jesus.

"Carols & Cookies" (sold out)

This festive night features a wide range of music both familiar and new, performed by talented musicians and even our Valley kids! After the event, stick around for cookies and treats in Fellowship Hall!

"Carols & Cookies" is Friday, December 9, at 7 p.m. The free tickets are all sold out. Find out more about tickets by clicking here.

Can you help? We need several volunteers to help make "Carols & Cookies" a terrific SHARE event! Click the button below to review the possibilities and sign up.

Christmas Eve Services

Christmas Eve is the day people are most open to the idea of attending church -- in other words, the perfect time to share an invitation! Another idea would be to have a "watch party" at your house, for those who are uncertain about actually entering a church building.

Scroll up to the "Worship" are of this page for all of the Christmas Eve service details.

"The True Meaning of Christmas"

Advent Series Graphic

Valley's Advent worship series, "The True Meaning of Christmas," begins December 3-4, running all the way through Christmas Day. Based on John 3:16, these messages will get to the heart of why we celebrate the season. With the Sanctuary and church beautifully decorated, this is a great setting for a friend or family member who doesn't usually go to church. Who will you share Jesus with this season?
